Also at this year's Berlinale the Hessen Film and Media Academy showed ten selected shortfilms from three universities in the HESSEN TALENTS 2016 programme: Two screenings at the European Film Market (EFM) at Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 11:00 to 13:00 hours at CinemaxX 12 / Voxstraße 2 / 10785 Berlin

Many of the filmmakers have been personally present at the Berlinale. The films have been shown with English Subtitles.

On Tuesday, February 16, the HESSEN TALENTS took part in the 9th Reception of Film Schools in the State Representation North Rhine-Westphalia. There, filmmakers from Hessian Universities presented their works at the side of the German film academy students - in the mediathek and at the hFMA information stand.

The HESSEN TALENTS programme is a nationwide unique initiative: An inter-university film programme featuring talents that emerge from Hessen's state Academies.

The Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Offenbach University of Art and Design and the School of Art and Design Kassel have put together a Best-Of from their current shortfilm productions.

The HESSEN TALENTS 2016 programme is again accompanied by a free DVD including brochure that serves curators, festival directors and producers. (see download below). To order a free HESSEN TALENTS 2016 DVD for preview please write to: berlinale@hfmakademie.de
